Nathan Katzif
(Director of Professional Services)
Nathan Katzif directs the implementation and delivery of Professional Services for Norcross Group. Nathan was a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for 17 years. He has a varied range of investigative experience to include: health care fraud, financial crime, asset tracking, cybercrime and digital forensics. He designed and implemented the first computer forensics lab at the GBI where he served as the first Special Agent Computer Forensic Specialist. He provided digital forensics and investigative support services to federal, state, and local law enforcement. As a certified Georgia POST instructor, Nathan has taught classes at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, Georgia Prosecuting Attorney's Council Conference, and has held other classes throughout the state for criminal justice personnel. He has instructed over 400 prosecutors and investigators in the area of computer crime, financial crime, and search and seizure of digital evidence.
Nathan also served as the Command Center Supervisor of the Athlete Village Venue during the 1996 Centennial Olympic/ Paralympic Games. Nathan designed, and implemented the communication protocol to interface Command Center staff with a total of 800 security personnel utilizing a $12 million United States Department of Defense security network.
